MIDS Day for Delta Sigma Theta in the Midwest stands for Midwest Impact Day of Service. It’s an annual regional initiative where chapters across the Midwest come together for a day of community service. The focus often aligns with the sorority’s national priorities, and recent themes have included POWERUP100 and literacy and combating book bans.

What Is Period Poverty?

- Period poverty refers to the inability to afford or access menstrual products like pads, tampons, or menstrual cups, as well as clean water, sanitation, and menstrual health education.

- It’s not just about products—it’s also about stigma, lack of education, and infrastructure gaps that prevent people from managing menstruation safely and with dignity.
